The city has collaborated with various local institutions including the Kentucky Theatre, Kentucky Educational Television, The Nunn Center, the Lexington Public Library Kentucky Room, Lexington History Museum, Lexington Sister Cities and Full Field Agency for this event. The commemorative program will take place at 5:30 p.m., at the Kentucky Theatre and is open to all members of the public free of charge.
