The Lexington Police Department is conducting an investigation into a homicide that took place last night. Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of North Limestone on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 8:52 p.m., in response to a reported shooting involving a victim. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives from the Personal Crimes Section are actively investigating the case. The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the deceased victim.
