One person has been arrested following a personal robbery that occurred on Palumbo Drive this afternoon. On December 11, 2024, around 4:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Palumbo Drive near Bainbridge Drive in response to a personal robbery incident. The suspect, armed with a firearm, robbed the victim of an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing in a vehicle. Officers in the vicinity were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle and apprehend the individual.
Jamarion Brown, aged 18, was arrested and charged with several offenses including Robbery 1st Degree, Fleeing/Evading 3rd Degree, Trafficking a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Trafficking a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. He is currently detained at the Fayette County Detention Center.
