Due to the Veterans Day holiday, Lexington will not conduct city waste collection on Monday, November 11. Residents and businesses that usually have curbside pickup on Mondays will instead receive service on Wednesday, November 13. It is advised to place carts out after 4 p.m. on Tuesday for the rescheduled Wednesday collection. Pickup services scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday remain unchanged.
Businesses with dumpsters for trash and recycling should note that the Haley Pike Waste Management Facility, the Lexington Recycle Center, and the Electronics Recycle Center will be closed on Saturday, November 9 and Monday, November 11.
