Arrest made in Giuseppe’s restaurant burglary

On July 10, 2024, a burglary occurred at Giuseppe's Restaurant located on the 4400 block of Nicholasville Road. Officers were dispatched to the scene around 8:58 a.m., where they discovered that a suspect had entered the establishment overnight, causing property damage and stealing an undisclosed amount of money.

Through the use of technology in the Real-Time Intelligence Center, including traffic cameras, license plate readers, and Fusus, detectives identified Paul V. Masters as the suspect. Masters, aged 59, has been charged with third-degree burglary and is currently held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
