This year’s fall mulch giveaway for Lexington residents will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 1631 Old Frankfort Pike between 8 a.m. and noon or until supplies run out. Residents are advised to enter via Jimmie Campbell Drive.
Event reminders include that the mulch comes from yard waste collected by Lexington’s Division of Waste Management during the past several months. Attendees should follow signage to direct them to the pickup site.
Additionally, this year, the City of Lexington is welcoming 12 new businesses to Green Check, a green business sustainability certification program.
