Lexington Police investigate homicide following Biskoff Court shooting

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on September 14, 2024, in the 700 block of Biskoff Court as a homicide.

At approximately 8:04 p.m. on September 14, officers were dispatched to the scene for a reported shooting with a victim. Upon arrival, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives from the Personal Crimes Section are continuing their investigation into the incident. The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the deceased victim’s name.

Part of Delong Road will be limited to one lane of traffic from Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Oct. 4.

Fayette County residents can dispose of household materials such as paint and cleaners at the city’s fall Household Hazardous Waste event.

Cyclists of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in Cycle September.
