Multi-agency Narcotics Investigation Leads to Arrests in Lexington

Three individuals have been apprehended for their involvement in trafficking narcotics into the Lexington area, as reported by the authorities. The arrests were the result of a collaborative effort by multiple law enforcement agencies.

According to the Lexington Police Department, the successful operation was carried out by detectives from various agencies, including the Winchester Police Department, Gateway Area Task Force, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). During the investigation, a significant amount of illicit substances and cash were seized.

In a statement, the Lexington Police Department expressed gratitude towards the assisting agencies and members of the public who provided valuable tips, which contributed to the success of the operation. The arrested individuals are currently in custody at the Fayette County Detention Center.
