Two people have been charged for a shooting incident that took place on Stonehaven Drive on July 4, 2023. According to the report, officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of fireworks and possible shots fired. It was discovered that two males and a juvenile had sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Following an investigation assisted by the Real-Time Intelligence Center, two suspects were identified. Daquis Sharp, 27, and Jatiece Parks, 19, have both been charged with Assault 1st Degree (Complicity) and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (Complicity) in connection to the shooting incident. The suspects were apprehended on February 29, 2024, after another shooting incident on Royal Avenue.
In light of an ongoing KSP officer-involved shooting investigation, further updates will be provided in a subsequent press release. Additionally, it has been announced that Greentree Road will be closed to through traffic from Centre Parkway to New Circle Road, including the intersection of Gainesway Road and Greentree.
