BURN BAN NOTICE:
Due to extreme dry conditions an executive order banning all outdoor burning has been issued for Jessamine County until hazardous conditions are abated. This is for open burning for the purpose of land clearing, construction site burns or for recreation (bonfires). If you have questions you can contact your local fire department. Your jurisdiction may require a burn permit and those are also being suspended by this order.
This order does not restrict the use of commercially made propane or charcoal grills that are used for cooking. With any case please assure that you do not leave these unattended and have an extinguishing source nearby.
