Lexington Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that took place overnight on Carlisle Avenue, as reported on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 1:38 a.m. Authorities responded to the 400 block of Carlisle Avenue following reports of shots being fired, where they discovered a male victim with a gunshot wound. Regrettably, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing, with detectives from the Personal Crimes Section actively pursuing leads.
