Three Juveniles Arrested in Connection with Stolen Vehicle and Police Chase

Lexington, KY - Three juveniles have been charged in connection with receiving a stolen vehicle and fleeing from the police. The incident occurred on December 6, 2023, in the Tates Creek Road vicinity.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers received a Flock license plate reader alert that a reported stolen vehicle may be in the area. Upon activating their emergency equipment to initiate a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle, the suspects fled. However, officers did not pursue the vehicle.

A short time later, officers were able to locate the stolen vehicle and witnessed three individuals fleeing from the car. The suspects were apprehended at the scene. Due to their status as juveniles, the Lexington Police Department is prohibited from releasing their identities. However, their ages and charges have been disclosed:

- Suspect #1: 16 years old

- Suspect #2: 15 years old

- Suspect #3: 15 years old

The three juveniles now face legal consequences for their involvement in the incident.

In other news, construction related to Town Branch Park will result in the closure of a small section of Manchester Street near the Central Bank Center on Monday, December 11. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and use alternate routes if necessary.
