Traffic on North Upper Street reduced to one lane for maintenance

On Sunday, Aug. 18, traffic on North Upper Street between Main Street and Short Street will be limited to one lane from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

No detour is necessary. Drivers are asked to proceed slowly through the area and watch for pedestrians.

This closure will allow a city contractor, Leak Eliminators, to line the stormwater pipe in the area.

The Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame announced the Class of 2024 inductees today.
