The Lexington Police Department is actively investigating a homicide that took place on May 4th, 2024, on Christian Road. According to reports, officers responded to a call at 7:17 a.m. in the 2100 block of Christian Road and discovered a male victim with severe blunt force trauma. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries the following day.
Detectives from the Personal Crimes Section are diligently working on the case to gather more information and uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Fayette County Coroner’s Office is expected to release the name of the deceased individual in due course.
