A juvenile has been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred just after midnight on Alexandria Drive.
On December 3, 2023, at 12:36 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Alexandria Drive for a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported critical injuries. The shooting stemmed from a disorder.
During the investigation, Personal Crimes Section detectives were able to identify and locate the suspect. A 16-year-old was charged with Assault 1st Degree, Possession of a Handgun by a Minor 2nd, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. The juvenile is currently being held at a juvenile detention center.
