The Government Center, located at 200 E. Main St., will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, to facilitate a state inspection and testing of the building’s elevators.
The three elevators in the Government Center have recently undergone an overhaul. The inspection and testing program necessitates that the elevators be shut down during this period.
As a result, all government offices housed within the Government Center and Switow Building will also close at 4 p.m. Additionally, the LEXserv office at 218 E. Main St., where individuals can pay their LEXserv bills, will close at the same time.
