A robbery incident at a Mini Mart on Anniston Drive led to the arrest of an 18-year-old suspect. On October 18, 2024, at approximately 2:55 p.m., officers responded to reports of a robbery involving gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered that a male suspect had entered the store and engaged in a confrontation with the clerk before discharging his weapon. Fortunately, no one was harmed by the gunshots, although the clerk sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the altercation.
The suspect, identified as Aubrion Johnson, has been taken into custody and faces multiple charges. These include Robbery 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Escape 2nd Degree (Identify Facility), Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
