67 percent of applicants to Asbury University were admitted for fall 2018

At Asbury University, 76 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 59 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Wilmore enrolled 1,940 students in fall 2018, including 1,697 in undergraduate and 243 in graduate programs, data shows. 9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

52 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kentucky, and 37 percent are residents of other states. 7 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (77 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (7 percent).

The school admitted 67 percent of the 1,366 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 30 percent enrolled.
