ATVs and UTVs have become a popular asset in the workplace. Here’s how to ride safely:
Always wear a DOT-compliant helmet, goggles, long pants, over-the-ankle boots and gloves.
Inspect prior to use.
Never drive on paved roads except when safe to cross and legally permitted to do so.
Secure any items you may be carrying to ensure both hands are on the handle bars or steering wheel.
Ride at a safe speed for the weather and terrain.
Never permit passengers unless there is an additional seat specifically designed to carry them.
Do not operate while impaired.
