The county registered an average of $3.21 per gallon for midgrade gas.
GasBuddy reports show that midgrade gas was available at 40 of the 123 reported gas stations in Fayette County.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in Kentucky was $3.13, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
